Classical concert in Saint Sulpice Cathedral

On December 3, 2012, Saint Sulpice Cathedral hosted a classical concert with the orchestra "Musiques en Seine"

On December 3, 2012, Saint Sulpice Cathedral hosted a classical concert with the orchestra Musiques en Seine under the patronage of Jacques Attali, President of PlaNet Finance Group , and Fred Hassabi, Vice-President of SAP Continental Europe.

Featuring soloists Shuichi Okada on violin, Noé Natorp on cello, and Josquin Otal on piano, the orchestra was led by David Molard, aged 23.

The orchestra showcased its talented young musicians to an audience of over 900 people. Jacques Attali delighted them by conducting the first part of the concert, this being one of his many hobbies.

The concert program was as follows:

  • Opening from the Barber of Seville (Gioachino Rossini)
  • Triple Concerto for Violin, Cello and Piano, Op.56 (Ludwig Van Beethoven)
  • Symphony No. 2 in C major, op.61 (Schumann)
