New law on crowdfunding

It is an important week for MicroWorld and for you!

Starting October 1st, a new law on Crowdfunding in France is becoming effective. It creates a regulatory framework for our activity and will bring a greater recognition to actors in the sector. This law will also allow us to seize new opportunities.

What difference does it make for MicroWorld?

MicroWorld will obtain a new regulatory status created by the law, “Intermédiaire en Financement Participatif” (Crowdfunding Intermediary), which requires a registration at ORIAS and a control by the regulator "Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution" (ACPR).

What difference does it make for me, lender on MicroWorld?

With this new law you will be better informed and protected against the risk of lending and your investments will be made through platforms which will be more supervised.

Starting today you will find on MicroWorld website:

  • a new tool to evaluate your lending capacity versus your financial situation,
  • information on loans default if they happen,
  • more information and transparency on the projects funded.

  • Other changes will occur in the coming weeks, we will keep you informed.

    See you soon on MicroWorld!
